It depends on the space and any obstacles. A few hundred to 1,000+ feet. And they power through walls!
Have the rental for another day? Get creative! Use them! Here’s a video of some ideas.
Headphones can last up to 10 hours when fully charged. Wireless transmitters around 8 hours yet I have never tested them that long.
Power switch on the bottom. There is an R and L debossed on the sides. When held correctly, toggles and dial should be facing you. Once on your head, use left thumb to click between channels and right thumb to adjust volume. Dial down for LOUD.
They are printed on the headsets and each channel corresponds to a color. Channel 1 is always BLUE, channel 2 is RED, and channel 3 is GREEN.
Turn nearby cell phones on Airplane Mode or even better, Off. In some cases the system could be clashing with environmental frequencies. Those are unfortunate and best to move the transmitters around and see if you can find a new location. Or. A new spot for the dance party.
No. These use Radio Frequency (RF) to broadcast the sound to the headphones. You literally “change the channel” physically, scientifically, and metaphorically.
You must have a paid Spotify subscription. Watch this helpful video starting at minute 2:50. 1. Make sure Spotify is on 3 devices 2. Download preferred playlist to each device when on Wifi 3. Then turn WiFi off so devices don’t speak to each other 4. Airplane mode for all 5. Remember to have each transmitter on a different channel 1, 2, or 3. Voila!
Each transmitter needs it’s own device. So for example, a phone can plug into the first transmitter (rentals include phone attachments) now click transmitter “channel” button until it says “1”. Then ipad plugs into second transmitter, click that transmitter until it says “2”. Computer or ipod or a friend’s phone can plug into the third transmitter and that transmitter needs to read “3”.
There are 3 spots to check for volume. First make sure Spotify or media app volume is up on all devices ( it’s bottom right corner of my Spotify screen on my laptop). Next, make sure device (phone, ipad, computer) volumes are up. Lastly adjust your headphone volume.
